WEBSTER COMPANY Antique Set (10) Porcelain DEMITASSE CUPS w/Sterling Silver Holders Germany-USA. Here we have a wonderful antique set of (10) fine sterling silver DEMITASSE CUP HOLDERS made by WEBSTER COMPANY from North Attleboro, MA -- with removable porcelain CUPS (white with gold rims) from Germany.

2-1/4" high x 2-1/8" in top diameter (add 3/4" for the handle extension) x 1-1/4" in base diameter, can hold up to almost 2 ounces to the brim. The Webster Company hallmark is on all holders and stamped, STERLING CW (with a feathered arrow flying through its center). " All but two cups are marked, "MADE IN GERMANY and four cups have some top rim gold loss, and three have a nick-chip on the top rim (see close-up photo #9)... All in all, not offensive and commensurate with their age.

Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact ages are unknown, circa 1894 to present. Or so for the packing box and packing material.
