These were designed to be placed on the tea or coffee cup so when cups were collected for a re-fill each person knew their own cup by the token they had on there specific cup.
These clip onto the opposite side from the one you would drink from. Condition is excellent with just one having a very small piece of enamel loss(very minimal), minor wear to case outer base area(again minimal).
