A rare solid sterling silver and enamel trophy cup. It is hallmarked for London 1934 with the makers marks being RP for Robert Pringle & Sons. It has been superbly designed having a large bowl supported on pedestal base with an enamelled union jack flag and has been engraved Wing Comdr & Mrs F H Poleman Onward London Cowes Race 1934 23 hours 33 minutes. Its in super condition being free from dings chips cracks and repairs. It measures over 3.75 inches (9.8cms) tall by 4 inches (10.2cms) across the rim and 2.75 inches (7cms) across the base and weighs 148 grams. A very interesting and rare piece.
