FRENCH STERLING TEA SET TEA CUP & SAUCER. A very fine and rare, late 19th century French sterling (950 pure) tea cup and matching saucer. From the Paris shop of Edouard Clerc, listed at 7 rue Pastourelle, Paris.

Beautiful period engraved royal coat arms and motto. Both tea cup and saucer with bright cut engraved streaming leaf and floral. With long sweeping vine, and cat-o-nine tails. Cast streaming leaf tip on satin decorated tapering C handle. This fine and very rare late 19th century French sterling (950 pure).
