Richly decorated with guilloché engraved background pattern surrounding the monogrammed, wreathed shield and "jewelled" frieze along the top portion, this handsome cup is sure to impress. We find the French minerva 1 hallmark, guaranteeing a fineness of 950/1000 parts silver (higher quality than sterling). Condition is excellent with only a few pin-prick marks to the base of the interior; there are no dents, dings or deformations. The engravings are extremely crisp and sharp, like new.Weighs heavy in the hand at 138 grams. Measures 9.7 cms (3.8 inches) tall and holds 11 fluid ounces.
