1917'Bartlett Memorial Trophy' Sterling Silver Cup. A handsome sterling silver cup, assayed for London, 1917. It is maker marked"PK&P", corresponding to Page, Keen and Page. The base of the cup is made of black stained wood. The cup appears to have been used as a prize, named the "Bartlett Memorial Trophy". On the base is a silver band that is inscribed with the winners from 1957 to 1981, featuring teams from Tamar, Tavy and Plym.
We believe the trophy has something to do with watersports and the charity South West Lake Trust. Peter Bartlett, MBE, retired in 2008 as a trustee and became the charity's first patron. The condition is very good. Dimensions: 16 x 10 x 18.5cm Weight: 384g (silver 259g). Have a look at our other items.
